Have you ever wondered why people who are well schooled behave differently from those who are not? It may interest you to know that, research has it that a person who is well schooled, well traveled, exposed and well read; thinks differently and acts differently.
Such a person wants to see everyone happy and on the same level with them. This is so because he always wants to be on the same page with you in every aspect. There is this UNIQUE QUALITY he has and it’s called HUMILITY!
That Engr John Ibrahim is an embodiment of true humility with prodigious and exceptional significance is an understatement. Far from it; he has demonstrated on records by his selfless service to humanity. A man who never held any political position but has rendered much from his private life to his community is commendable and exemplifies a life worth living. A minimal risk (if at a risk) that could be made amongst many undefined politicians with darkest ambitions.
Interestingly, he has presented scholarships to secondary and tertiary institution students from his local government area Ibaji. This charitable consideration by him is aimed at reducing the burden on the less privileged who have lost all hopes. It is another kind of encouragement to the indigenous students of his community to become better citizens and productive to their people particularly and their community in general. Leadership indeed is all about being in the service of the people.
The person of Engr John Ibrahim is worthy and articulate for the redemption of Kogi East Senatorial district with his doggedness and Olympian faith in his people. It is obvious that none amongst the aspiring Senators vying for Kogi east senatorial position come 2019 has any substance at the base of his/her of ambitions except John Ibrahim. Even those who have held political offices in the pasts are not able to account for their misrepresentations.
When it comes to expressing himself before Kings and Queens, John Ibrahim has got the witty, eloquence, skills, sagacity, tenacity and the political gumptions to represent the oppressed and deprived people; who have been relegated to the background and all they get is peanuts from their so called past leaders. Misrepresentation has become a political concept associated with Kogi east most particular. Evidence of this is not far-fetched.
Any Kogi easterner current about their political status at the national assembly could be a witness to this ultimate reality. Sadly, since the 2015 Kogi east senatorial election, inordinate ambitions by desperate politicians who claimed to be at the service of their people have crippled the hope of Kogi Easterners. Lest they are not just underrepresented but have become unrepresented. Their voices silenced to the mud.
It is now for the good people of Kogi east to take another fresh decision come 2019 which will affect their lives vitally. It must however be the choice between progress and stagnation, competence and incompetence, and above all between vibrant advocate of the voiceless and those who compromised their people’s interests for their personal gains. Engr. John Ibrahim belongs to the group of selfless representatives who can bring to Kogi east the needed progress.
He is a man of few words but great action.
He is victoriously endorsed by God and man.
