2019: Next Kogi Governor Should Be A Break From The Past – Salisu Ibrahim

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Salisu Ibrahim has called on Kogi electorates to ensure that the next Governor be someone who is a break from the past.
Salisu made the call while canvassing support for Alh. Mohammed Shaibu, aka Tette, a governorship aspirant.
He described the governorship hopeful as a fine gentle man who has made success in his private and public life, promising that if elected he has the magic wand to around the negative fortune of the state.
He called on Kogi electorates to demand for credibility, a break from recycled politicians and leaders who have failed the state.
“Never again should the people vote for politicians who do not have their wellbeing at heart,” he said.
Hon. Salisu called on the leadership and members of the PDP in the state to in 2019 do things differently that would make the party emerge victorious at the 2019 governorship.
He called on the delegates to see 2019 as a defining moment for the party and state, stating that any mistake made in imposition and selecting the wrong candidate would spell doom for the party.
He described the Ofu LGA born administrator and politician as God sent, people oriented, would move the state to the next level of development if elected as governor in 2019.
