Steve Babaeko Gets Royal Award for Humanitarian Services

Founder of Babaeko Farms, Steve Babaeko has been honoured by the Oba of Kakun, Kabba-bunu local government of Kogi state, for his immense contribution to the development of the community.

The Oba of Kakun, HRH Oba Sunday Obaromi described Babaeko as an illustrious son of Oweland who has touched lives across the globe.

Oba Obaromi, who doubles as the Obagbakunro of Oweland, said Kakun community has benefitted immensely from Babaeko’s humanitarian gestures.

“Kakun and its environs has been benefiting from different kind donations from Steve Babaeko – over one hundred school bags for pupils in our community, his support towards electricity, donations of food items to our widows, the empowerment for the less privileged and many more impactful empowerments.

“There isn’t no doubt that Mr. Steve Babaeko, the founder Babaeko Farms, is deserving of this royal award for his humanitarian services,” the monarch said.

Mr. Dayo Abolusoro, the P.R.O of the Okere Dynasty, commended the awardee recipient for his selfless service to humanity. Pastor Abbey, on the other hand, prayed that God continues to bless the founder of Babaeko Farms for his unwavering support to humanity. 

Sheyi Babaeko, the General Manager of Babaeko Farms who received the award on behalf of his boss, appreciated His Royal Highness, Oba Sunday Obaromi for finding Steve Babaeko worthy of this Royal Award.

“Though our founder would have wished to be here to receive this royal award and blessings by himself, but due to other international engagements he is unavoidably absent. Nevertheless, our founder has asked me to thank your Majesty, the entire community and the Okere family for this royal award. Be rest assured of our continuous support to the community,” he said.

Notable monarchs like Chief Maji Abolusoro, High Chief Oloruntoba, the Obagunji of Oweland; High Chief Kehinde Tafu, the Oba of Okepasa; Chief Paul Onilu, community and youth leaders among several others witnessed the ceremony.

Steve Babaeko is a Nigerian advertising and music executive, public advocate, founder of X3M Ideas, a Lagos-based digital advertising agency that was listed in 2017 as “one of Nigeria’s fastest growing communication agencies”.
