Sani Idakwo Philips has emerged as the House of Representative candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Dekina / Bassa Federal Constituency of Kogi State.
Sani polled 758 votes to emerge consensus candidate of the party in the Direct Primaries witnessed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and as stipulated by the National Working Committee of the Party.
The Returning Officer, Victor Umoru announced the result and declared him winner amidst jubilation from party supporters and admirers.
In his Acceptance Speech, Sani Idakwo Philips thanked Members of the Party in Dekina / Bassa Local Government for giving him the mandate to fly the party flag in the coming House of Representative elections.
Sani Promised to carry everyone along during the campaign period and promised victory for the party.
