Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, the House of Representatives member representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, has described the death of Kogi State Chief Judge, Justice Nasir Ajanah as a great loss to the state, himself as a barrister and the entire people of his constituency.

In a statement personally signed and issued by the lawmaker, he stressed that “the death of the Chief Judge came at a time when we needed his professional and fatherly directions.

“Late Justice Ajanah was an unbiased and unblemished public officer while in service and in his lifetime,” part of the statement read.

Hon. Shaba Ibrahim sympathised with the State Government and the legal profession body in the state, emphasising that “it was not too long that we lost the President of the Customary Court of Appeal, late Justice Shaibu Atadoga.

“I urge the family of late Justice Ajanah to take solace in the fact that the late Chief Judge lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation by all. I pray Aljannah Firdaus to be his final abode. Amin”, the Reps member said in the statement.
