In the early hours of today, I read on an online news from one Yusuf Adeyanju Yisau that Ijumu Students Union has been hijacked by the Administrator of Ijumu Local Government, Hon.Tuafiq Isa.
In the Year 2016, Ijumu Students Union National Conference was successful held, National Executives headed by Miss Bunmi Tanimola and Miss Ijumu emerged. All these processes were conducted by students.
In the Year 2018, a successful Miss Ijumu was also conducted. Three days before the National conference a first hand information was gotten by the Administrator who is also the chief security officer that some sections of student are planning to cause uproar and impeach the executives. As the Chief Security officer of the Local Government, security operatives were mobilized to the venue for utmost peace. The conference was truly peaceful not until some unknown thugs invaded the venue.
I want to state and refutes clearly that the said union is not hijacked and can never be. I want to also make it known to the writer who writes out of imaginations, hear says, hatred and intention of instigating Ijumu Students that, as an Administrator of the Local and Chief Security officer, he has all rights to be anywhere to maintain peace and order.
