The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG Kogi Province 4, has felicitated its Pastor in Charge of Province, Pastor Vincent Aderemi Abu, and his wife on the occasion of their birthdays.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of pastors, ministers, workers, and members of the province, the church described Pastor Abu as one of the meekest and most Christlike servants of God, whose life and ministry have continued to inspire many within and beyond the province.
The statement commended Pastor Abu for his humility, sincerity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the Kingdom of God, noting that his leadership has positively impacted countless lives. It added that his fatherly care and spiritual guidance have brought encouragement, direction, and renewed hope to many members of the church.
The province also paid glowing tribute to his wife, describing her as a woman of grace, wisdom, godliness, and steadfast support. According to the statement, her quiet strength and dedication to the work of God have greatly complemented the ministry of Pastor Abu.
The message further noted that together, the couple have exemplified Christ-centred leadership, sacrificial service, and genuine love for God’s people, making them worthy examples to the church community.
As part of the celebration, RCCG Kogi Province 4 offered prayers for the celebrants, asking God to renew their strength, preserve them in good health, increase His anointing upon their lives, grant them greater wisdom, and reward their labour of love with joy, peace, favour, and abundant fruitfulness.
The province also prayed that their latter years would be more glorious than the former and that their ministry would continue to flourish for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
Quoting Matthew 11:29, the statement described Pastor Abu’s life as a reflection of Christlike meekness and humility.
It concluded by congratulating Pastor Vincent Aderemi Abu and his wife, while reaffirming the appreciation of the entire pastors, ministers, workers, and members of RCCG Kogi Province 4 for their exemplary leadership and faithful service.
