Dr. Mahmoud Bala Alfa has expressed his joy over the approval of his close friend, Alhaji Yusuf Momoh Adama, as the Anaja of Gbobe in Bassa Local Government Area.
In a message of congratulations, Dr. Bala Alfa described the development as a proud moment for the people of Gbobe and a new chapter in the life of his long-time friend.
He said he has known Alhaji Yusuf as a calm, humble and respectful man who has always valued peace and good relationships with people.
“Yusuf has been a dear friend and brother to me for many years. I have seen his humility, his respect for people and his love for peace. I am happy to see him take on this new responsibility,” he said.
Dr. Bala Alfa said traditional leadership is not only about honour and titles but also about service, patience and responsibility.
He congratulated the people of Gbobe for the approval and prayed for a peaceful and successful reign.
