Ramadan: United Labour Congress Tasks Kogi Workers On Fervent Prayers

The United labour Congress of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter, has sent a message of felicitation to Nigerian Workers in Kogi State ahead of the commencement of Ramadan fasting.
In a statement signed and issued in Lokoja by the State Chairman, Opaluwa Eleojo, ULC called on Kogi workers to pray fervently for improved welfare of workers across the state.
Opaluwa prayed Allah to grant the workers the strength, good health and piety as the holy month begins tomorrow.
He urged workers to pray that Allah touch the hearts of leaders in Nigeria to have a change of heart towards improved workers welfare for workers. Opaluwa tasked Kogi Workers in particular to use this holy month to pray fervently for a turn around in workers welfare.
The State Chairman urged all Muslim faithfuls to pray for the peace of Kogi State and Nigeria at large, noting that Allah who hears and listens to still voices would no doubt harken to their plea, pointing out that the present time calls for absolute prayers.
