A leading governorship aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Alhaji Yakubu Yusuf Okala has been successfully screened by the screening committee for the state gubernatorial aspirants in Abuja.
This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja by the Director General Media and Protocol to Okala Campaign Organization, Mallam Mohammed Adama.
He expressed confidence that their principal would scale the hurdle and fly the ticket of the party in the forthcoming governorship poll in the state in November, this year.
According to him, Alhaji Okala has all it takes to move the state to another level of development, saying he has the capacity and experience to make the difference, by pulling the state our of doldrums.
He maintained that the leading aspirant has been tested and there is no denying the fact that he would bring his experience to bear in harnessing the economic potentials of the state, if given the opportunity.
Adama therefore enjoined APC delegates to vote massively for Okala to emerge governorship candidate of the party.
