Oh Allah! Sawm (fasting) is one of your decreed five pillars of Islam. The pillars of Islam are the religious rituals we perform to provide us a platform to heed to your teachings and way.
The most significant beauty of this aspect of the pillars of Islam is that it portrays a state of mental frankness that is undeniable by anyone it is that lives in your name.
In conventional fulfilment or ensurance of this, popular knowledge of it has lead to an adopted period of time for all Ye who believes to perform. This is to enable us share the love of truth with each other. It is that period you called RAMADAN.
Oh Allah! Here it is again another opportunity you have granted us for this religious ritual. As we cant deny, this is the period of time used to atleast in moral lesson remind ourselves of the negative effects in our relationship with ALLAH (SWT) or comfortable living the various sins we commit has on our very immediate self.
Oh Allah! Shower your grace on Kogi state. Oh Allah! take the lead.
As you said or directed in your words that we should pray for our leaders, please grant your wisdom and fear onto our leaders, starting from the Governor and in fact to all of us because we are leaders diversely at one end or the other.
Please make us great in your name regardless of the hunger everywhere because we believe nothing happens that is outside your will.
May our fathers and mothers live long purposefully on earth to witness us correcting our mistakes in the name of Allah swt soon, so as to reward them for the stress of dehumanization that they are going through because of the prevailing unfortunate times in Kogi state just to raise us now.
