The Chief Administrator of Ankpa local government area of Kogi state, Hon. John Aduga has called on Muslims to extend love to others and imbibe the act of selfless service to humanity during Ramadan period.
John Aduga, in his Ramadan message, urged Muslim faithfuls to use the Ramadan period to maintain unity and peace.
“Ramadan is a period that calls for sober reflection. Therefore, it is a time for us to share love among ourselves, maintain peace and continue to pray for the unity of Kogi State and its peaceful co-existence.
“What is in the 30 days of Ramadan is to show love to ourselves and also show love to our neighbours. When we have in excess, we must give to others because somebody else has provided for us,” he said.
The Administrator said since assuming office, the guiding philosophy of his administration which is inline with the New Direction agenda of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, has been about inclusion and to touch lives positively.
