Ramadan: Sani Ogembe Enjoins Muslims to Imbibe Spirit of Companionship

The House of Assembly candidate for Okene II constituency in the just concluded election, Hon Sani Ogembe has charged Muslim faithfuls to imbibe the spirit of companionship and love for one another.

In a statement signed by this senior assistance on new media, Mr Abdalah Little while both were observing prayers in his Abuja residence, welcomed all Muslim around the world to the Holy month of Ramadan.

“I want to use this medium to congratulate those who witnessed this holy month of Ramadan to avail themselves this immeasurable opportunity to imbibe the virtues of love and spirit of companionship for one another. It is not our making to hold sight of a great and holy month like this, also this is not the fault or making of those Muslims who died before the arrival of this month,” he said.

He expressed his heartfelt sympathy to other Muslim brothers and sisters who are finding it difficult to feed in this holy month of Ramadan, charging all well-to-do individuals to assist as it will go along way to compliment their ibada.

He faulted Kogi state government’s refusal to offset the backlog of salaries to the civil servants.

“I share in the pains of my Muslim brothers and sisters who will be needing the assistance and succour from others before performing one of the pillars of Islam. I urge well-to-do Muslims to assist in their little ways to further attract the blessings of God.

“Also, the present government under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello should ensure the worker’s salaries are paid to enable them perform their Islamic rights.”
