The member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly, Alhaji Alfa Momoh Rabiu has commiserated with the member representing Okehi constituency, Hon. Kekere Sani over the mother’s demise saying there is solace in the fact that her demise came at the prime of her spirituality.
While speaking further, the lawmaker noted that the news came to him as a shock having just finished performing the hajj pilgrimage with her in the Holy land saying, her end calls for sober reflections.
“Yes, death is what anybody should expect at any point in time but Mama’s death comes to me as a shock… This is somebody who just returned from the Holy land hale and hearty but as mere mortals, we cannot question God’s decree. The only solace therefore is to know and belief that Mama’s demise couldn’t have come at any better spiritual time,” he said.
He thereafter extended his sincere condolences to the immediate family, friends and well wishers of the deceased praying that God accepts her soul together with her hajj works.
