Our attention has been drawn to a recent macabre dance by some dramatis personae in Yagba in connivance with Senator Smart Adeyemi. We wouldn’t have bothered to waste our time on such gallery play by personalities that think they can always deceive all the people all the time.
We want to put it on record that Hon Sunday Karimi has collected several hundreds of millions as constituency allowance. He cannot hoodwink us and assault our collective intelligence by buying Jeeps for our Royal Fathers. Such gesture doesn’t empower our people and it was ill thought since our Royal Fathers already have operational vehicles. Hon Karimi has defeated our hope in him. He is a total failure.
On the issue of Sen Smart’s third term which Chief Omokore is promoting, we want to advise him to bring a detachment of a military formation to Yagba. What belongs to Yagba will never be allowed to be traded away by billionaires who have failed to empower our people. What can we show in Yagba that Omokore has done for our people despite his supposed closeness to the seat of power?
In 2015, Omokore will see the power of the people. His billions won’t help him. We can’t be deceived anymore. Workers can’t earn salaries again. Our roads are death traps. No more deceit.
We want to urge all Yagba people to remain steadfast. It is the turn of Yagba and posterity won’t forgive us if we sell our inalienable right.
We say no to Smart. And we say no to Karimi’s second term bid.
