The chairman who was on project inspection tour to the areas with members of his council said he was satisfied with the job done so far by the contractor.
He said, his 2013 joy is for the people of these communities to celebrate this year’s Christmas and New year with electricity in their homes. He charged the contractor handling the company, Aisha Electrical Company to intensify efforts to ensure that electricity projects in these communities are commissioned before 23rd of December 2013. He equally advised members of the community who are direct beneficiaries of government projects to maintain them as their own properties.
The Chief Engineer of the Company, Engr Abdullamid Mohammed thanked the chairman for meeting the contractual agreement on these projects and promised the people of the communities, that his engineering team will work both day and night to ensure the projects are due for commissioning before December 23rd, 2013.
Mallam Ismaila Omata, the Agenyi Attah Efaji Ibegwu-Ikpakpala said Comrade Mohammed Ali’s transformation programme in Dekina Local Government generally is overwhelming.
He said, when Comrade Mohammed Ali told him sometimes ago that the people of his area will benefit from his rural electrification projects before the end of 2013 he was not too sure how realizable that could be, but today, the project is almost completed. He thanked the Chairman on behalf of the community and pledged their unmixed support for his administration.
Speaking to newsmen, community leader of Iyale Mr Joseph Abu said, what is about to happen in their community will mark a new beginning of infrastructure development in the community. He said in the past, several promises have been made by different political office seekers, but as soon as they were elected, they forget the community, but today, Comrade Mohammed Ali has Proven himself to be a trust worthy, reliable, determined public officer and a leader who feels the pain of his people.
Over 14 brand new 500KVA and 250KVA transformers have been installed in various communities while the connections of the Low Tension (LT) cables is on going.
