Kemisola Crowned Winner of MISS ÀRÈWÁ OKUN 2014

It was all about Kemisola Adeyanju at the Iyah-Gbede township hall, as she emerged winner of the 2014 ÀRÈWÁ Okun beuty pageant. As she clinched the crown out of all the six contestants that contested.

The ÀRÈWÁ okun 2014 winner was announced by the popular presenter and on air personality of Grace FM of Lokoja called Ife, who was the chief judge of the event.

The winner Kemisola who hails from Aiyetoro Gbede, Kogi State, and a mass communication undergraduate student of the citadel of learnig Kogi State University Ayingba, who is as 511 ft tall and chocolate in complexion.

Kemisola  scooped away the 1st prize winner of a whopping amount of money worth over a hundred thousand naira, an HP Laptop, a one week return ticket and free acomodation to South Africa, an Ambassador for one of the 5 star hotel in Kogi state (Kabba precisely) just to mention a few.

Jumoke Bello who hails from Iyara part of kogi state, and also a microbilogy student  of kogi state university was awarded with a Plasma TV screen while the 3rd position goes to Are Temitayo who is a as tudent of Kogi polytechnic and also an indigeon of Aiyetoro and also is the former Miss Aiyetoro was awarded with a refrigerator.

Speaking with the man behind the initiative Oladele John Nihi who also doubles as the CEO of Fundel Global Resources said “ÀRÈWÁ Okun  thats a maiden edition and the first of its kind as come to stay, and it will surely continue and get better yearly.

Present at the event was the newly crowned queen’s mother Mrs Grace Adeyanju all the way from lagos, who said she was expecting her daughter to be crowned the winner and to God be the Glory she was. And also the queen’s elder brother femi Adeyanju who said he knew from the onset that her sister was no match that she has all what it takes become winner.

Also present there was some important dignitaries, CEO’s Chairmen and a whole lot who pleaded to be anonymous, and not forgetting the kogi state upcoming artistes who made the show more glamorous and delectable with their outstanding performances.

And to cap it all, It would be recalled that ÀRÈWÁ is a Yoruba word that means BEAUTY & OKUN are the Yoruba people of Kogi State. ÀRÈWÁ OKUN therefore is a Beauty Contest among Okun-Yoruba Ladies.
