‘Posterity Will Remember You for Good’, Adabenege Lauds Okene LG Chairman’s Leadership Style

The Chairman of Kogi State Local Government Service Commission, Mr Adams Adabenege, has described the Chairman, Okene local government council, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad, as an exemplary leader.

Adabenege made this known when he led the permanent secretary and other members of the commission on a courtesy visit to the council chairman in Okene on Monday.

He eulogized Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad for his peaceful disposition and style of leadership in Okene local government, adding that “posterity will always remember you for good”.

While commending Muhammad’s “unprecedented political records and achievements on security”, Adabenege said the visit also availed the commission the opportunity to interact with Okene council staff.

He stated that the commission had fruitful discussions on local government development, staff welfare, promotions exercise, disciplinary measures where necessary and employments in key areas of need.

The Council boss, in his speech, called for more synergy between the civil servants under the commission and politicians in the interest of peace and development of the council.
