The National President of the Public Office Holders Association of Nigeria (POHAN), Dr MD Eseyin has congratulated the Alamuro of Amuro community of Kogi state, Oba Alfred Aiyedogbon, along side other traditional rulers and chief upgraded and presented with the royal staff of office.
This is contained in a brief release to the press signed by the National President.
Dr Eseyin said the upgrade of the Alamuro of Amuro stool to first class is worthwhile and a highly commendable gesture from Governor Yahaya Bello.
He added that the general upgrades done on traditional rulers in the state at various levels is a great feat towards the traditional institution.
Chief Eseyin said Amuro stool has been long due for the deserving upgrade, hence, it is a manifestation of age long agitation.
While congratulating the monarch and his other contemporaries across the state, Dr Eseyin congratulated the entire indigenes of Amuro land on the great honour done on the community.
He thanked Governor Bello and other illustrious sons and daughters of the community for bringing the dream of the community to reality.
