The Peoples Democratic Party’s National Youth Frontiers (PDPNYF) will in December, next month hold a rally for the endorsement of Senator Nurudeen Abatemi-Usman for a second term of office. The event is scheduled to take off at the open field, opposite Dabras Hotels, Okene on a soon to be announced on Tao FM date.
According to the Adavi local government, PDPNYF coordinator, Comrade Abubakar Aliyu, the rally will provide the platform in mobilizing Ebira sons and daughters, both home and away in utilizing all available resources such as formation of committee of friends, campaign organizations, direct phone calls/sms texts in educating their relatives, friends and associates on the need to vote for Senator Nurudeen Abatemi-Usman.
That Ebiras who are not at home cannot vote in elections does not mean they cannot influence their outcome. This means Ebiras in other states and in the diaspora are very much on the ground and relevant in elections only if they can reach out to friends, family and business beneficiaries on the right candidates to vote for.
Kogi central constituents will be awakened at the rally to mobilize and gather votes for Nurudeen Abatemi’s re-election. This is for continuity to enable him finish up the good job he is doing.
Refreshments and meals will be served throughout the duration of the rally.
