The member representing Ogori-Magongo/Okene Federal Constituency, Hon. Ahmed Yusuf Tijani Damisa has called on government at all levels, culture and tourism promoters and development agencies to increase support for the annual Ogori Ovia Osese festivals in view of its enormous potentials in contributing to the economic development of the society beside its roles as a virtue and culture symbol for discipline in the society.
Hon. Ahmed Yusuf in a statement to felicitate with traditional leaders, his supporters and the good people of Ogori Land in Ogori Magongo L.G.A on the celebration of the 2018 annual Ovia Osese festival and promised to always support the festival.
In the same vein, an association known as “Friends of T.J in Ogori-Magongo” has appreciated the contribution of Hon. Ahmed Yusuf Tijani Damisa and his performance in the National Assembly in the period under review.
The statement particularly applauded the various training and empowerment programmed aimed at building a future of prosperous youths and industrious society and the infrastructural development being influenced to the area by the legislator, particularly in the rural wards around the constituency.
The association also promised their unalloyed support to the legislator as the preparation for 2019 general election approaches.
