Member representing Ijumu state constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Honourable Victor Ade Omofaiye, today, led members of the House Committee on Works to Kogi Central to inspect ongoing road construction projects in the senatorial district.
Omofaiye and his committee members are on roads project monitoring tour as part of their oversight function as members of the state parliament.
The committee inspected ongoing construction works on Itakpe-Kuroko-Ebogogo-Okene road which was awarded to Levante Construction Company by the Governor Yahaya Bello-led administration.
Omofaiye and his team commended the contractor for starting work while waiting for mobilization fee. He said the committee is set out to monitor quality of work done and also get acquainted with challenges being faced by the contractors.
