The truth about the politics in Kogi State no one wants to tell you or let you know is this…

The people in charge of Kogi State are crazy and drunk in power.

Many people wonder why I care so much about my failing State when people like Opaluwa Ugbede-Ojo Omera believes Kogi State is in good hands and is working well.

After this write-up, if anyone feels otherwise about a failing Kogi State or my write up, then you can challenge me to a open debate.

Before I decided to write a piece on my wall,I first looked at the facts and studied it very well. And this is my argument, I got a call from a senior civil servant who told me they are being owed for more than 12 months now and each time they decide to protest in Kogi State, the government of Yahaya Bello threatens them with sack letters.

I have seen passionate people like Anty Vera Olive Otini and GoDwin Jibrin Bakwo argue and support the ideas and notion that government should be for the common people and the purpose of solving problems.

Then I begin to wonder if these people who have not benefited from government can speak truth to power why can’t the likes of Smart Adeyemi, HRM Ameh Oboni, Obaro of Kabba and the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland and Edward Onoja see something wrong about this government in Kogi State or are they blind?

We have prominent political, religious and traditional leaders in this state, why is there a sudden silence in every corner of the State?

Are the religious leaders afraid of Yahaya Bello or the kind of attacks meted on Dino Melaye by the Kogi government?

Is the Attah of Igalaland afraid of the government of Kogi State? Which is supposed to be advising as a royal father?

Almost all the prominent leaders are quiet in Kogi State or are they benefiting something from the underdevelopment of Kogi State ?

These questions kept on rolling in my mind as I woke up this morning.

How did we get here?

Which sin has the people of Kogi State committed before God?

What can we do to fix these problems?

After my last write-up about our failing State and the political actors in Kogi State that was published in the Kogireporters news channel I was called several times and warned about the consequences of such a critical write up exposing the decay and the stealing of the State treasury.

Do these people think at all?

Do they think I’m affected by the failed Kogi State?

In what way do I benefit from Kogi State?

Mind you, the decision of the government in Kogi State does not bother or affects me in Europe in any way,but we must speak in times of trouble and when truth becomes unavailable.

If we refuse to speak, then we become accomplice.

On The Issue Of Igalamela;

When Baron Okwoli was appointed as the sole administrator of Igalamela, I was critical of his appointment because I knew It will be a self serving mission for the Governor and Edward Onoja, don’t get me wrong, Mr Okwoli is a good man. Recently Mr Baron Okwoli was removed as the sole administrator, after he was praised by Mr Onoja as the best sole administrator because his campaign posters for senate linked online. Do these people think at all?

Has anything gone wrong between them or is he no longer serving his master well ?

When dining with the devil, remember to do it carefully because tomorrow will be the judge.

Lastly, The victory of the former governor of Ekiti State in the just concluded election will send wrong message and boldness to Yahaya Bello that he too can win election in Kogi State in 2019. This is a fatal assumption because the politics of Kogi State is more complex than Ekiti State.

If Yahaya Bello thinks he can win election in Kogi State without the civil servants, then is a big looser and a drowning man.

The civil servants in Kogi State constitutes 60 % of the voting majority of the masses, surely the anger of the civil servants will be directed at him at the polls.

May we never die because of the policies of this failed government of Yahaya Bello
