In every ideal society, there are three different classes of people;”The high class, the middle/average class and the low
class”everyone including you and i belongs to one of the class aforementioned above, what you earn as salary or wages depends on the category you belong to.

But sadly to note that in Nigeria, the rich are getting richer and the poor poorer. Each day we hear how our country is growing economically in figures and one would be pushed to ask who are the beneficiaries? I don’t doubt the claim, for over the past five(5)years the number of Nigerians that own or make use of private jet has tripled. while,on the other hand so many cant afford basic life amenities.

One won’t want to join the legion of buck-passing critics;what is however clear is that we are running an unhealthy system.Take for instance, the level of survivor-ship of a young graduate who works in Lagos and earns about #85,000 per month.

That pay in real sense doesn’t worth anything, house rents are stunning and neck-twisting.To live in a decent place in Lagos you will need at least #700,000 annually to service house rent.

Do you still wonder why there is high rate of insecurity in Nigeria? The reason is however not far-fetched,there is a daily quest for survival among the worrisome trend of “Unemployed qualified graduates” who out of frustration end up in criminal or other ferocious activities like terrorism in the north, militancy in the south south, kidnapping in the south east and arm&highway robbery, pick pocketing in the south west.

It is yet so unfortunate & saddening that a country which is the seventh largest crude oil producer in the world could still be suffering from fuel scarcity, people of like minds nurse fears about a likely exist of the common man from the corridors of power in the country.

In conclusion, I urge President Muhammadu Buhari led administration to sit down to chart a new course for the future Nigeria. Our country is richly blessed with vast mineral and human resources, that if well managed and evenly distributed everyone in this country will be living slightly above average.

Let us forget about the contentious word “Sovereign” and let us join hands to develop our great nation Nigeria. We truly want to witness the gospel of CHANGE.
