Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja has described the passing of the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Dr Ado Ibrahim, CON, as a monumental loss not only to Ebiraland but to Kogi State and the country at large.
He noted that the departed monarch would be fondly remembered for his simplicity, diligence, scholarly approach to issues, and leadership acumen to entrench the peace, unity, and sustainable development of his domain as the traditional custodian of his people.
Chief Onoja, whose condolences were contained in a statement signed in Lokoja by his Chief Press Secretary, Promise Emmanuel, extended his heartfelt commiserations to Governor Yahaya Bello, the royal family, the Kogi State traditional council, the people of Ebiraland, and the entire State over the loss.
He prayed God grants the departed monarch eternal rest.
