Senator Ahmed Ogembe representing Kogi central senatorial district has expressed his heartfelt sympathy to his colleague, Senator Dino Melaye over the demise of his mother Deaconess Comfort Melaye.
This was contained in a statement personally signed by the Senator and made available to news men in Abuja.
Ogembe described the death of Mrs Comfort Melaye as a rude shock. He noted that mother’s love is the most sincere and selfless one and because of such bond, losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrow a heart can know.
He urged Senator Dino to take solace in the fact that his mother lived a fulfilled life nothing that though she is no longer here on earth but she will always live in our hearts.
Ogembe prayed for God to grant the soul of Mrs Comfort Melaye eternal rest and bestow the family she left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
