The Special Adviser on Youth and Student Matters to the Kogi State Governor, Oladele John, on Tuesday, paid a working visit to the Kogi State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Idah, where he held talks with management and student leaders and toured ongoing projects on campus.
Nihi was accompanied on the visit by the Senior Special Assistant on Digital Communications to the Governor, Alonge Israel Femi, and the Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Mobilisation, Eniola Olayemi.
During the visit, the team held an executive session with college staff led by the Provost, Alhaji Umar Shuaib, and with student leaders led jointly by the President of the Student Union Government (SUG) and the President of the National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), College Chapter.

The session provided an opportunity for the College’s leadership to highlight achievements recorded under the current administration, as well as challenges still facing the institution. Nihi said the issues raised would be relayed to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

He also toured several of the College’s faculties, inspecting ongoing projects and identifying areas he said required the government’s immediate attention.
Addressing staff and students, John described Ododo as an “education-friendly” governor and said the Governor would visit the College soon, assuring that the challenges raised during the session would be resolved.
