Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Political Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has congratulated the 44th Obaro of Kabba and Chairman Okun traditional council, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, the Obaro Otitoleke Oweyomade 1, as he clocks 2 years in office.
Omoluabi, while describing the royal father as a true father, leader and patriot, said his two years in office manifests abundant deposit of God’s wisdom in him and fruitfulness in the entire Kabba land.
In a congratulatory message he personally endorsed on Tuesday, the governor’s aide said he is grateful to God for bringing a leader like Oba Owoniyi at this point in the people’s history as the paramount ruler of Kabba community, maintaining that his reign has redefined the land and her people.
“I lack words to qualify my happiness as I join our compatriots across the world to celebrate a true father, a leader, a mentor and advocate who has shown that he truly came to serve and lead his people on the path of prosperity.
“In such a very short period of time, he has demonstrated the innate capacity and passion in him to bring our dear land to a national limelight through fruitful engagement, Advocacy and negotiations.
“As a man who is in connection with his people and who understands their needs, he has used his network of connections to attract development to our land, offer our youths good living and give our sons and daughters sense of pride and honour.
“Suffice to say that we never had it good in visible representation in government till our quintessential Oba came to throne and began to foster a good synergy with key stakeholders and today, the results are there for us to see.
“We can’t thank God enough for the wisdom He has deposited in our father to pilot the affairs of our land of pride peacefully and harmoniously. As he marks a glorious second year in office, God Almighty shall strengthen him in body, spirit and soul to continue recording uncommon milestones, a feat for which generations shall speak blessing of his name,” Omoluabi said.
He also urged all sons and daughters of Kabba, at home and in diaspora, to continually offer support to the kingship of the Obaro Otitoleke Oweyomade 1, who doubles as the Secretary, Kogi state council of traditional rulers.
