An Abuja based businessman and philanthropist, Bashorun Bamidele Obiniyi has described the demise of the Agbana of Isanlu, Oba Aaron Adi Ikuborije as a collosal loss to the people of Isanlu, Yagba and indeed Kogi state.
In several condolence messages from his twitter handle @Oluomo4yagba, Chief Obiniyi described the late Oba as a father figure to all and can be best described as an epitome of fatherhood.
The Isanlu born politician who is also aspiring to represent his Yagba Federal constituency at the lower chamber of the National Assembly come 2019 urged the people to be consoled in the fact that the agbana lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation.
“I know the death of Baba is quite painful in view of his acceptability among us, however, I don’t want you to cry too much because he lived a fulfilled and impactful life. He was a lover of peace and his subjects, his reign attracted development to our town and we will never forget him.
“His death is indeed a personal loss to me, he love and appreciate me so much that he gave me the title of OLUOMO of Isanlu land, one of my most cherished title among others,” Obiniyi said.
Obiniyi urged the Isanlu elites and stakeholders to come together and unite in the interest of the community and to sustain the legacy of the late Oba.
He prayed for the soul of Oba Ikuborije to rest in peace and for God to grant his immediate family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
