The Ilajo Royal Descendant (IRD) in Kabba, Kogi state has felicitated with the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on his 2nd anniversary in office, with a charge to give priority to the security of lives and properties of the citizens.
The IRD Chairman, Mr Michael Adeyemi, in a press statement in Lokoja on Friday, commended the governor on the achievements in the last two years, and wished him more successful tenure as he continue to pilot the affairs of the state.
He congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello and the entire Kogi citizens, saying that, “indeed, the governor has done greatly in the health sector, agriculture, youth empowerment and the civil service reform as well as the welfare of the entire workforce in the state, which remains second to none.”
Adeyemi said that laudable projects embarked on by the Governor, which was geared towards developing the state and creating more jobs for its teeming youths should also be commended.
While he also commended Gov Bello for the opportunity given to youths across board to be part of his administration agenda, expressed optimism that the state would be in its desired status.
He therefore prayed God to continue to lead and guide the governor rightly in all his endeavours in governance.
