The two-day gathering, themed “NEXT-GEN Women: Driving the Digital Economy Through Leadership, Innovation, and Inclusion,” will hold at 1002 First Avenue, Central Business District, Abuja, located beside the Nigeria Revenue Service and by the Federal High Court in the Federal Capital Territory.

Four special guests of honour are expected. They include Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, OON, Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission; and Dr. Vincent Olatunji, National Commissioner/CEO of Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Prof. Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu, FNCS, serves as Chief Host, while Dr. Ayodele Olukemi Sade, FNCS, President of NIWIIT, hosts the event.

A high-level panel discussion will spotlight technology and innovation strategies shaping Nigeria’s digital economy, with sessions tailored for women across every career stage, from new entrants to established leaders.

Confirmed panelists include: Segun H. Olugbile, PhD, FNCS, CEO of Data Analytics Privacy Technology Ltd; Adaobi Nwankwo, Head of Innovation at NDPC; Hauwa Abubakar, founder of PlanetCred; Bimbo Oladunjoye, FNCS, Administrative Secretary, INEC FCT; and Iklima Musa Salihu, Special Adviser on Strategy and Innovation to the DG of NITDA.

Conference programming will feature research paper presentations, technical workshops, expert talks, and networking sessions across both days.

Proceedings will close with the Annual General Meeting where delegates will conduct elections to select leadership for the next term.

Speaking ahead of the event, Dr. Ayodele Olukemi Sade, NIWIIT President, said the summit is about positioning women as builders, not spectators, of the digital economy.

“Nigeria’s digital economy is being written in real time and the women in this room will help author its future and not merely appear as a footnote. The next generation will not ask for inclusion. They will architect it,” she said.
