Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Youths and Student Matters, Amb. Oladele Nihi, has charged the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) support group to go beyond the surface to restructure for long-term sustainability and dominate the digital space.

He gave the charge when he played host to a delegation of the NANS support group in his office on Thursday.

Nihi expressed gratitude to the NANS body for recognizing Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s impact on youths in Kogi state.

He stated that the administration of Governor Ododo deserves commendation for the timely release of increased bursaries, international scholarships, the provision of monthly subvention to student bodies and even the recent presentation of brand new bus to NANS national body.

He said in recognition of these achievements, the ‘Kogi State NANS Support Group for President Tinubu and Governor Ododo’ has been officially launched.

The delegation included: Comrade Enesi Habeeb (DG, Kogi NANS 4 PBAT/Ododo); Comrade Bashir Usman (Kogi NANS Stakeholders Chairman); Comrade Adeoyo Samuel (Kogi NANS JCC Chairman); Comrade Muhammed Saeed (Zone C Sec. Gen/Secretary); Amb. Asmawu Idris (Treasurer) and Comrade Idris Alooma (Member).

Nihi, alongside Hon. Emmanuel Ojoduene (Mario), the Senior Special Assistant on Students Affairs to the Governor, challenged the team on building a campaign.

“We are building a legacy of progress and unity for Kogi State and Nigeria. A movement of the people, by the youth, for the future.

”The mandate is clear. The movement has begun,” he said.
