Yeye Amuludun of Odokoro-Gbede, Hon. (Mrs) Toyin Kosoko-Omole, has congratulated the people of Ijumu local government area of Kogi state for successfully scaling through the twelve months of 2023.
In a press statement issued on Sunday, Yeye Amuludun said the New Year, 2024, “brings with it a renewed sense of hope and the opportunity for new beginnings and wishes it to be a year filled with joy, success, and abundance for everyone.”
While felicitating with her people in Ijumu LGA, Chief Mrs Kosoko-Omole extoled the Almighty God, saying, “as we bid farewell to the old year and welcome in the new, I extend my warmest wishes for a prosperous and fulfilling year ahead”.
She told her people to embrace the challenges that may come their way with courage and determination, knowing that they serve as stepping stones toward their goals and that the coming year bring them the strength and resilience to overcome any obstacles that may arise.
She once again extended her heartfelt gratitude to her home-based relations and community leaders for their unwavering support and trust.
“Your encouragement has been instrumental in my journey, and I am deeply grateful for it,” she said.
She admonished the people to continue to be law-abiding citizens even as they cross over and navigate through the year 2024. She urged her people to reflect on the past year and thank God for the gift of life. She also indulged every facet of faith to pray for the success of the Governor-elect, of Kogi State, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, and Nigeria at large.
