Coordinator, Girl Child Education, Kogi Central, Princess Onyize Asmau has insisted that the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Barr. Natasha Hadiza Akpoti-Uduaghan won the February 25 senatorial elections in Kogi Central.
In a statement issued in Okene on Sunday, Onyize said Natasha’s victory was divine by Almighty Allah.
The education for girl child advocate said it is Allah that gives power and has given Natasha victory.
“Saturday, February 25, 2023 election results was manipulated in favour of the APC candidate.
“I am highly grateful to the Almighty Allah for granting Natasha this invaluable success in the last election and indeed all the good people of Ebiraland that voted for her. By Allah’s grace, she will represent the good people of Ebiraland in the 10th National Assembly.
“It is only the Almighty who divinely grants leadership to his humble servants, it is not about money or grabbing power. Ohere may be laughing now, thinking he has won, but he may not prevail in the end,” she said.
Onyize appealed to Ebiras to remain calm and urge APC candidate to accept the verdict of the electorate in good faith, with maturity and piety, admonishing that, politics should not be taken as a do or die affair.
