The Chairman, Northern Traditional Council Committee on Health and Ejeh of Dekina, HRH Alhaji Usman Obaje, has described the success recorded on the ANRiN project by the implementing partner, Africa Youth Growth Foundation, AYGF, as resourceful, given the positive feedbacks on the impact of the program on the target beneficiaries so far gathered.
The First Class traditional ruler made the statement in his palace in Dekina during an advocacy visit by the AYGF team.
He maintained that the seven key interventions of the World Bank Funded program being implemented has been massively accessed by the target beneficiaries – children between 0-5 years, pregnant and lactating mothers.
He commended AYGF for its effective strategic sensitization and awareness as well as a well designed community presence approach by the organization.
He called on all community leaders and stakeholders to support and take ownership of the program in their various communities by intensifying awareness drive to allow for more beneficiaries to access the commodities being provided free of charge.
The revered Monarch commended the Executive Director of AYGF, Dr Arome Salifu, whom he described as a passionate son of the land worthy of emulation.
He prayed that AYGF shall never lack.
