Lokoja: Adoga Commends Shiru for Replicating New Direction Policies

The Senior Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya Bello on Multilateral and Donor Agency, Hon. Adoga Ibrahim has said that the Lokoja Local Government administrator, Hon. Shiru Lawal, is replicating the policies of the New Direction government in the council.
He maintained that it has been the policy thrust of the state government to bring development down to the grassroot, pointing out that, Shiru is keeping to that thrust.
Hon Adoga, who stated this in Lokoja while on a project monitoring and inspection tour to the project sites, expressed astonishment at the synergy between the Administrator and the people of the areas.
While commissioning the newly constructed of class rooms at the Lokoja Women Development Centre, the Special Adviser lauded Shiru for taking critical steps to impact the lives of the people, saying that “the project would enhance academic and skills acquisition activities in the area.”
Hon Adoga, who also inspected the ongoing construction and renovations of Maigari of Lokoja office project, expressed that Shiru is truly restoring Lokoja local government.
Speaking on behalf of traditional institution, the Hakimi said that the administrator has outperformed his predecessors within a short period of time and promised him their unflinching support in the forthcoming council elections if possible.
The state chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) and administrator, Hon. Taufeeq Isah, in a message commended Shiru for his determination to positively impact the people of Lokoja, noting that, it is very evident that the people are satisfied with his performance.
While reacting, Shiru thanked the SSA and other eentourage for taking there time to circumnavigate the town to inspect projects in the LGA.
He reaffirmed his commitment to strategically developing Lokoja Local government  and bring government closer to the people, saying that, he will not disappoint the confidence reposed in him by the governor.
