LG Chairman Rally Stakeholders to Ensure Success of Mini LNG Plants Launch in Ajaokuta

Ahead of the groundbreaking ceremony for 5 mini LNG plants in Ajaokuta local government area of Kogi state, the council chairman, Hon. Haruna Ogido Aliu, has called on stakeholders to make the event a resounding success.

The council chairman made the call during a tripartite meeting with monarchs, youth groups and security agencies in Ajaokuta LG secretariat on Thursday.

He said the upcoming groundbreaking ceremony will mark a significant milestone in the economic and social development of Ajaokuta communities.

The monarchs, led by Chairman Ajaokuta Local Government Traditional Council HRH Musa Isah Achuja, the Ohi of Ajaokuta, expressed profound gratitude to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his pivotal role in collaborating with the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in advancing human development policies.

The security agencies reassured all stakeholders of their readiness to ensure a smooth, secure, and hitch-free event. Similarly, the youth of Ajaokuta pledged their unwavering support for the current administration and committed to being active contributors to the growth and development of the community.

The Local Government Chairman commended the youth for their steadfastness and urged them, as well as all constituents, to conduct themselves in ways that reflect the good attributes, values, and integrity of the Ajaokuta people.

He also emphasized the importance of aligning with government policies that prioritize progress and unity.

The five mini LNG plants in Ajaokuta Local Government Area are PRIME LNG, NGML/Gasnexus LNG, Assurance LNG, Highland LNG, and Arete LNG.
