KSU Alumni Association Drags COE Ankpa Provost, 6 Others to Court Over Illegal Election

The national executives of Kogi State University (KSU) Alumni Association, under the leadership of Mallam Ibraheems Yahaya, has dragged the Provost, Kogi State College of Education Ankpa, Dr Muhammed Kebir Ibrahim, and the immediate past president of the association to court for conducting an “illegal, unlawful and unconstitutional election of the association.

The suit No. UACIL / CUF /33 / 2021 which was scheduled for mentioning on Wednesday, October 6, at Upper Area Court 1, Lokoja, was been adjourned to November 1, 2021 for mention.

The newly elected executives are challenging Dr. Muhammed Kebir Ibrahim for breach of the provisions of the constitution and are seeking legal redress over the matter.

The newly elected national excutives are Mall. Ibraheems Yahaya, National President; Prince Alilu Sani Ibrahim, National Vice President; Comrade Okeme Yusuf, National Secretary; and Mr Yunusa Onalo, Assistant National Secretary.

Other are: Mrs Rebecca Odidi, National Treasurer; Helen Ahmodu, National Women Leader; Barr. Ahmad Muhammed, National Legal Adviser, among others.
