The House of Assembly candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Yagba West constituency, Yemisi Oshaloto has call on party supporters to troop out in their numbers for the campaign flag-off for Kogi West senatorial district.
Governor Yahaya Bello is expected to headline the campaign flag off scheduled to hold at the Kabba township stadium on February 2.
Oshaloto, popularly known as ‘Erelu’, said the flag-off rally to herald the presidential, national and state assembly campaigns of the party will further assert APC’s popularity and acceptance among the people of Kogi West senatorial district.
The House of Assembly hopeful said the people of Kogi West have enjoyed a lot of dividends of democracy since the commencement of the new direction administration in the state.
She highlighted the Ejiba Rice Mill, upgrading of Isanlu General Hospital, Kabba township roads among several others as signature projects of the APC led administration.
She urged women and youths to reciprocate the love extended to them by the APC administration in the state on election day, adding that at no time in the history of state has women and youths had the opportunity to drive governance and political activities.
Oshaloto stressed that women are candidates of a ruling party, and on the ballot to win.
