Political leaders under the aegis of Kabba Bunu APC Stakeholders have asked Barrister Babatunde Irukera to, without further delay, heed the peoples’ call for him to join the Kogi West senate race in 2019.
in redeeming the image of Okun nation and accept to run the Senate seat in 2019.
The group, in a statement signed by Kolawole Dickson, said the clarion call on Irukera is hinged on the yearnings of the good people of Kogi West for a refined, effective representation.
Dickson described Irukera as a round peg in a round hole with known capacity to redeem the image of the zone. He said the appeals by different groups within and outside the APC for Irukera to lead Kogi West is genuine.
He urged the people of Kogi West to seek representatives with quality, competence and character, pointing out that 2019 election will be a defining moment for Kogi West.
