Kogi state commissioner for transport, Honourable Sani Ogu Salisu, has affirmed Governor Yahaya Bello’s readiness and passion to transform the New Direction Blueprint from mere paper work into reality.
Salisu made this known to this reporter during a private visit to his office.
The New Direction Blueprint contains the developmental plans, policies and programs that the new government under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello have for both the infrastructural and human development of Kogi state.
Hon. Salisu urged all citizens of Kogi state to be patient with Bello’s government as he is set to address the long years of rot in the state with his New Direction blueprint which is anchored on the Change Manifesto of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
He expressed readiness of Gov Bello in addressing key issues like worker’s salaries, dilapidated roads and a lack of clear-cut policy direction on agriculture and healthcare delivery as well as tourism, sports and integrated approach for industrialization and a comprehensive program to engage women and youths in the state to drastically reduce the rate of unemployment, urging the citizens to keep supporting this government to achieve all of these laudable plans.
