Kogi Students’ Bursary In The Final Stage- NAKOSS President

The President of National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS National), Comr Omeiza Moses Audu, (Troy), on Thursday says the Kogi State Government in collaboration with the Association is making all efforts to see that all Nakossites get their bursary allowances in the earnest.
Audu disclosed stated this in press statement on Thursday in Lokoja, signed by him and the association General Secretary, Comrade Iliyasu Zakari.
He said that all Nakossites who had registered for the bursary would soon be smiling to the bank, stressing that the verification was in the final stage of fund disbursement to all the beneficiaries
He, therefore appealed to all Kogi students to be patient, assuring them that the bursary alert would soon hit their phones.
Audu commended the efforts of the New Direction Government being led by His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the number one student and youth friendly governor, for not only approving the bursary but had also increased it by 300 per cent, saying it had never happened in the history of the state and the nation at large.
Audu appealed to the governor to remain the listening father as he had always been to all Kogi students.
“We are like Oliver Twist, we will always ask for more; it is in the virtue of a father to always be ready to give more to his children and we know that the students welfarism is our govenor’s utmost priority.
“In regards to the aforementioned, there will be an emergency meeting of all National Students Tribal Association leaders of Kogi origin (Presidents and Secretaries) on May 21, 2018 at the Hill Top Hotel, Ganaja junction, Lokoja by 12 noon prompt.
“I am also using this opportunity to announce my first set of appointments: Comrade Yasir Rabiu from Adavi LGA as the Chief of Staff to NAKOSS President, and Bernard Ajewole from Lokoja LGA as the Chief Press Secretary.
“The appointments take effect from May 17, 2018”, Audu said.
Audu further expressed his goodwill message to all Muslims bothers and sisters as they commence the Holy month of Ramadan, urging the Muslim faithful to offer prayers for the State and the country at large.
