Wife of the Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Mrs. Esther Zainab Kolawole has died at the age of 50.
A press release issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Honourable Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Femi Olugbemi on Sunday revealed that Mrs. Kolawole died Sunday morning in an undisclosed hospital in Lagos after a brief illness.
“With heavy heart we announce the death of the beloved wife of Rt. Hon. (Prince) Matthew Kolawole, Honourable Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly. She is survived by her husband, children, siblings and aged mother,” the statement read.
The press release stated that burial arrangements would be announced later.
