As part of his determination and commitment to fulfill all campaign promises in 2015, the member representing Kabba/Bunu State Constituency and Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Matthew Kolawole has given out 12 brand new TVS motorcycles to some of his constituents who were part of his campaign group since inception.
Presenting the motorcycles at his residence in Kabba over the weekend, the Speaker said, it is a reward for loyalty and also in line with his promise to provide qualitative representation at the state level.
He said he decided to procure the motorcycles and distribute it to support some of his loyalists who have over time remain unshakable in their support and cooperation with him.
He appealed to some who might have not gotten anything to remain steadfast in their support as their own will soon come, urging all his supporters to continue to support the current administration in the state led by Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
According to him, he would remain eternally grateful to Governor Yahaya Bello for his unflinching support to the legislative arm under his watch.
He said APC as a party remain the dominant party in the local government, urging all members to continue to project the party in good light.
Also speaking at the occasion, the Chairman and Vice chairman of the APC in Kabba/Bunu, Hon Olorunmosule Medusa and Chief Emmanuel Ilemowa respectively, commended the Speaker for his untiring efforts at reaching out to the people from time to time.
According to them, the Speaker is a blessing to the party, noting that ever since he came on board, the party has turned a new leaf.
They congratulated the beneficiaries, urging them to make judicious use of the motorcycles.
The Director General, Prince Matthew Kolawole Campaign Organization, Hon Ampitan Sunday, aka Chemical, charged the beneficiaries not to sell the motorcycle, noting that anyone that sells his own, the motorcycle will be retrieved from whoever it is sold to.
Appreciating the Speaker on behalf of the beneficiaries, Hon. Yinka Bebeyi and Hon. Emmanuel Aiyeditan thanked the speaker for the kind gesture, promising to redouble their efforts in propergating the activities of both the Speaker and the party under the new direction team led by Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
