Kogi Speaker Donates N1m to Kogi NYSC

…as Speaker gets surprise birthday party.

In what looks like explosion of goodwill and the dawn of a new era of service to humanity, the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly got a surprise birthday bash today at the NYSC Orientation Camp Asaya.
The party was put together by the  NYSC management to celebrate and felicitate with the Speaker, Prince Matthew Kolawole on the occasion of his birthday who they see as one of the most outstanding donor to the organisation.
The Speaker who was visibly elated thanked the management for the surprise birthday party organised in his honour. He admonished the Corp members to make good use of their service year for something productive; using himself as an example who got employment on the day of his passing out after suffering 17 rejections from employers in places of primary assignment.
He promised to donate the sum N1 million naira for Corp members’ welfare.
The NYSC State Coordinator Mrs Oladapo Agile spoke glowingly in appreciation of the Speaker stating that her predecessor has  narrated the previous philanthropic gestures of the Speaker towards Kogi NYSC. She said the surprise party is their own way of showing how much the Speaker is appreciated. She wished the Speaker fulfilment in his political career.
 The  Speaker was accompanied to the camp by Kogi State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara; Commissioner for Agric, Barr. Kehinde Oloruntoba; Mrs Bimbo Alfred, Chairperson Kogi Hotel and Tourism Board, and a host of other well wishers and supporters.
