Kogi SDP Suspends Arome Okeme, Appoints Musa Chubiojo as State Secretary

The Social Democratic Party (SDP), Kogi state chapter, has suspend it state secretary, Arome Okeme, over allegations of indiscipline and gross insubordination.

This was part of the resolutions reached the emergency State Executive Council (SEC) meeting of SDP in Lokoja on Thursday.

The meeting attended by 42 out of 50 members of the State Executive Council announced that Okeme has been replaced with Musa David Chubiojo.

The state chapter declared its continued support for the state chairman, Alhaji Mouktar Atimah, whom they said has added value to SDP in Kogi state.

The SEC also supported Atimah’s actions in the emergence of Dr. Ishaq Abdul Ahmed as national chairman of SDP.

Speaking with newsmen after the meeting, the state chairman, Alhaji Atimah assured members across Kogi of the party’s commitment to democratic ideals.

Atimah pledged to lead the party to victory in 2023.
