On behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, staff and students of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, I wish to felicitate with His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the entire government functionaries and the good people of Kogi State, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the creation of the State.
It has been three decades since the dreams of having a State anchored on the strength of Unity in Diversity was acuaalised by our founding fathers, and we are proud to join millions of our people in celebrating the sustenance of the Kogi Project through purposeful leadership and encouraging followership.
The journey over the years might not have been smooth and we might not have got all we aspired for, but there is no doubt that our story has been far better and can only be better and better in the years ahead.
Indeed, there is no better time to hope for a better Kogi State than the current dispensation under the visionary and pragmatic leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor and Visitor to our institution.
Our giant march under his watch are clearly reflected in the huge successes recorded in infrastructure and social services provision, security and human capital development.
While there is no doubt that there is room for more progress in the days and years ahead, our desire in that regard is hard to achieve without the support of all and sundry for the leadership of our dear State.
I wish to therefore urge us all to continue to give relentless support to the administration of Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and help to forge an uncommon bond that will place our dear state on the path of sustainable progress.
It is our prayer that God should continue to guide, guard and protect the Government and people of Kogi State and help achieve meaningful and sustainable development in the years ahead.
Once again, from all of us at Kogi State Polytechnic, it is hearty and warmest felicitations to the Government and people of Kogi State on the 30th Anniversary of her creation.
