Kogi PDP is United and Indivisible – Wada

The Kogi State Governor, Capt. Idris Wada, has described the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as a united and one indivisible unit.

The State Governor who was represented by his Deputy, Yomi Awoniyi, stated this when he received the North Central Zonal Chairman of the Party Alhaji Yusuf Ayitogo and Members of the Zonal working Committee of the party in the  North Central State.

Wada described purposeful leadership and a cordial relationship existing between the Executive, Legislative and the party in the State as reasons why the party is in sound footing.

The Governor urged the party officials to ensure that the ideals of the party as enshrined by the founding fathers of the party is consistently followed.

While noting that the transformation agenda of the present administration is on course, disclosed that one of the hallmarks of the administration was the completion of inherited projects.

The administration, Wada explained has began the initiation of new legacy projects that will further propel the party to greater heights, commended the leadership of President Goodluck Jonathan, and that of Alhaji Bamanga Tukur in moving the nation and the party forward.

Capt. Wada assured that the State will continue to remain a bastion of PDP in the North Central State, commended the leadership of the North Central Zonal of the Party for ensuring that the party is united and focused.

Earlier in his remarks, Alhaji Yusuf Ayitogo the North Central Zonal Chairman, said the party is on a routine visit to monitor the activities of the party in the zone.

Alhaji Ayitogo described PDP as the only party with a national outlook, described the party in the State as a pillar of the party in the North Central State.

Alhaji Ayitogo commended the leadership of Capt. Idris Wada, disclosed that the party is happy with the level of infrastructural development the State is witnessing.

Also speaking, the State Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Hassan Salawu, disclosed that the party is intact in the State following the policies of inclusion played by the State Governor and his Deputy.

Alhaji Salawu described the party as proud of the Governors giant strides in completing inherited projects and the new ones he inherited. He once again passed a vote of confidence on the Governor and his Deputy disclosing that the future of the State will be much more guaranteed under the leadership of Capt. Idris Wada and Yomi Awoniyi, beyond 2016.
