The Federal Commissioner in charge of Kogi Public Complaints Commission (PCC), Hon. Gabriel Otitoju Olusuyi, has pledged to give voice to the voiceless and halt administrative injustice.
The Commissioner stated this while on a working visit to Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Area Office Lokoja.
Olusuyi assured that administrative injustices will no longer be swept under the carpet. He stated that his commission is going to unravel inequality, injustices, marginalization and trampling of individuals and organizations rights.
He warned that no one will be above the law in the Commission’s determination to address administrative injustices, adding that President Mohammadu Buhari’s administration is set to right the wrongs.
The Commissioner tasked members of the public to come with complaints, pointing out that in the past the commission could not do much because people in most cases were not forthcoming when their rights are trampled upon.
Receiving Olusuyi at the ITF, the Area Manager, Ibrahim Echu described the PCC as an ombudsman whose impact needs to be felt now more than before.
In his remarks, the Kogi State ITF Area Manager, Commended the PCC Commissioner for his determination to reposition the Commission for the good of the society.
He said having gone through the rich profile of the Commissioner, he has no doubt in his mind that a new chapter of correcting administrative injustices has opened up.
The Area Manager further enjoined the Commissioner to place much emphasis on public awareness campaign to assist in showcasing the mission and mandate of how the Commission plans addressing administrative injustices in the state.
