Kogi Lost a Jewel in Mrs Funmilola Olumoroti – Gov. Bello

Kogi state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has described the late Engr Funmilola Olumoroti as a “virtuous, hardworking and patriotic woman, who was a role model to many young people in the State”.

In a condolence message signed by the Governor’s Director General on media and publicity, Kingsley Fanwo, Bello said he received with shock, the sudden demise of Engr. Funmilola Olumoroti, wife of a former Governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Olusola Olumoroti.

He expressed his heartfelt condolence to the Olumoroti family and the people of Kabba over what he referred to as the “loss of another great Kogite” when the state is still mourning the death of Prof Pius Adesanmi.

“Our hearts are with the Olumoroti Family and the entire Kabba people over this unfortunate death. It is one death too many as the state is yet to recover from the shock of the demise of Prof Adesanmi.

“The late Mrs Olumoroti will be remembered for her service to humanity and patriotic zeal towards the progress of our dear State.

“It is my prayer that God should grant the widower, children, Family members of the deceased and indeed the entire Owe nation the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”.
